I believe in open, honest government. In a time in which honesty is, at best, hard to come by in political circles, I will be honest with my constituents. I will work to the best of my ability to meet YOUR needs--I will not ask you to meet mine. I understand, as all members of good government should, that my job is to represent you and put your needs ahead of my own. I am not doing this for personal gain--other than to do a job that I am proud to do as a citizen of Wisconsin.
When I ran for this office in 2012 I had many people voice concerns to me about issues surrounding education, treatment of teachers and other professionals, and the fact that nobody except for a select few seemed to be able to get ahead. When I ran again in 2016, I continued to hear the same from my constituents, and held firm to these issues. Now, when it comes to Health Care, education, the environment, and the local business economy, Wisconsin is in worse shape than it has been our lifetime. That is why I am wholeheartedly entering this race again in 2018, to continue to give a platform and voice to those of us who consider these issues fundamental to Wisconsin's health and identity. Please feel free to look over my website, connect with me on Facebook at Elizabeth Riley for Assembly, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to meeting you!
